What the status rests on

The club's events page lists dated sessions from 16 October 2026 (Torneo Activo on 18 October, Friday meetup on 23 October, children's tournament on 24 October; further Torneo Activo dates on 25 October and 8 November, with registration) and a 2026-27 season calendar; the club is also on the Madrid chess federation's venue list for 2026/2027. Team counts differ between sources: the home page says seven league teams, the club page says six, and the federation's rapid-league list shows six. The home page says the Friday meetup was paused for the summer and resumes in September; the Madrid Chess Meetup page shows an event at the academy on 9 October 2026.
