What the status rests on

A local news item dated 4 June 2026 reports the club's June 2026 programme (Madrid rating-band championship on 6-7 June; school tournament, memorial and children's team festival on 13-14 June). The club is also on the Madrid chess federation's venue list for 2026/2027, with 14 teams in its rapid team league. The news item places the tournaments at Polideportivo Eduardo López Mateo; the federation's league venue is a different address (Avenida Baunatal, 18). The venue list describes the premises as an annexe ("anexo").
