What the status rests on

The Madrid chess federation (FMA) lists this venue for the 2026/2027 season, with 3 teams in its rapid team league. The club is also in the Preferente division of the 2026/2027 team league. The Madrid tournament calendar (ajedrezenmadrid.com) lists the "5. Festival Benéfico de Ajedrez Memorial Gonzalo Fernández Descalzo - Tres Cantos 2026" (30-31 May 2026) and the "6. Open Blitz Ciudad de Tres Cantos 2026" (28 November 2026), both organised by Club Ajedrez Tres Cantos at the Polideportivo Laura Oter. The venue list says first floor, by lift; a calendar page says second floor.
