More about this list
A handful of clubs keep Saturday morning for their members and for teaching. Ajedrez con Cabeza in Chamberí is open for playing from ten to one, Jaque y Mate Venceremos in Alcalá de Henares prints opening hours for the morning without naming the room, and Club de Ajedrez Getafe trains and meets from half past twelve at the Sector 3 civic centre; its site asks anyone planning to come to write or phone first. La Didáctica says its tournaments can be joined on Fridays and Saturdays.
Elsewhere the morning belongs to classes. Las Rozas Reacciona teaches young people and adults at two levels, Diagonal Alcorcón and Ajedrez Blanco y Negro have adult groups, Capablanca's municipal sports school in Chamartín and Pueblo Nuevo teach children and teenagers, and Torre de Éboli gives free children's classes at a municipal library in Pinto, on a timetable published for the previous course. Some of these lines carry no hours because the club's page gives only the morning; the card says so.
